State mortgage rates ranged from the lowest rate of 4.66% (ID) to the highest rate of 5.63% (NE). Currently, Texas mortgage rates are 4 basis points higher than the national average of 4.78%.

The Texas mortgage rate on March 9, 2010, is up 2 basis points from last week's average Texas rate of 4.80%.
