State mortgage rates ranged from the lowest rate of 4.65% (MN) to the highest rate of 5.13% (NM). Currently, Texas mortgage rates are 1 basis points lower than the national average of 4.80%.

The Texas mortgage rate on March 14, 2010, is down 3 basis points from last week's average Texas rate of 4.82%.
